hello everyone, I'm fairly new to Ebay, but I have a problem I need help with. I understand Ebay holds funds when you are new, but they usually release them 3 days after tracking shows delivered. I mailed a package to penn on Monday and it was delevered Thursday, but even though the tracking shows it, ebay won't release funds. i did accidently print 2 labels and I think since one shows not delivered and one shows delivered that may be the problem. any suggestions? Also, the same day I shippeda package to a firm in Redondo Beach called Shop america. the treacking says they have no access to delivery. I called the P.O. but they weren't any help. When I checked the feedback for this company and googled them I got worried. Any advice for a dumb newbie? Thank you

You should enter the tracking number of the label you actually used to ship that package into your MyeBay page, so you can show Paypal that the package was delivered. Then you CALL Paypal. They dont automatically release the funds, you have to ask for them.
Shop America, which has a huge number of user IDs, is a company that buys items for their clients in Asia, mostly in Japan, then forwards them to the client. They ask you to put the item number on the outside of the package so they can identify it when it arrives and be able to send it on the rest of its journey. Some people just don't like the way they do business and feel that somehow they cheat by providing a way for non-US buyers to buy from sellers who don't ship outside the country. Actually, they just provide a buying experience for clients who otherwise would not have access to the items they want. I have sold to them many, many times without ever having any bad consequences. However, it is critical that you put the listing number on the box.

Did you void the label you did not use on the site you purchased it from? Meaning if you printed your label using the Ebay system, they you need to void it there. That does two things. It voids it on the sales record of the item you were trying to ship and it allows you to be refunded for the postage not used. That refund takes about 30 days, but it will come. This is a very important step.
Tomorrow, try calling PP [not Ebay] and give them the tracking number that it was delivered with. See if you can get your funds released. They will typically work with you. Good luck.

Ebay only ever sees your money when you pay your monthly FVF and listing fees.
They can't hold anything.
