changing to meet up from shipping after accepting an offer

I accepted an offer from a buyer and the shipping was way to expensive.   I had already accepted the offer and shipping and the buyer and I decided to meet instead.  Can I change the method and refund the shipping and still get paid through ebay or do I have to cancel the whole thing?

You cannot change it and you put yourself at risk in several ways if you ignore the shipping and do a local pickup. The best thing to do is cancel the order, relist with local pickup as the only shipping method, then the buyer can re-purchase.
