i need to let my buyer know of shipping costs. they are different than what shows in the ad...

What you have in the listing at time of sale is all you can ask.

Once the buyer pays the seller can not request more money.

If they overpaid you can refund the difference.  If you didn't charge enough the repsonsibility is yours.  You can't collect more.  The buyer bought based on the shipping they saw.

your buyer is not here.

use contact buyer on the sold listing.

Only contact them if you're going to save them some money. You can't ask for more if the item is sold already.
