If anybody needs labels urgently, you can purchase anything but eBay Standard Envelope elsewhere. pirateship.com is a good option for USPS and UPS services.

I foresee this problem affecting eBay long term by having its sellers turn to Pirateship, realizing it being much better than eBay’s postage label system, and never going back to eBay for postage even when the big is fixed.

It’s been a long while since I’ve used eBay postage labels, but I can’t recall any reason why eBay would be preferred over Pirateship other than the fact that it’s first-party versus third-party and if you use eBay Standard Envelope. Especially with international postage, that’s where Pirateship totally shines. Not to mention you can get credit card rewards points with Pirateship.
