buyer told me not to use his default shipping address and hasn't sent me a new one yet.

So this is my first sold item on eBay, and it's a processor. The person bought it, and before I was going to ship it (it hasn't been shipped yet) they messaged me saying this:

"Yes, I will return the name of the consignee and the address for receipt of the goods to you soon because the present name of the consignee is being wrong."

(I don't believe English was their first language)

I have not shipped it yet, and am not sure whether I should send it to the new address once they provide it. The other thing I am unsure of is that they are even going to send me the new address and or the name of the consignee. It has been a day since they sent me that message when they could have easily just put the proper name/ address in the original message. They have not responded back to any messages I have sent back so far, and I am worried about what I should do.

Tell them you can only ship the item to the address on the Pay Pal payment.

You can ask them if they want you to cancel the order, then they can reorder using the correct address.

Have a great day.

I don't see any sales under this ID but you have 1 item listed.  Do you have another selling ID?

Don't change anything , when they pay on the ebay checkout page there is a spot to change the address so that the Paypal  transaction page has the correct delivery address

You lose  seller protection by changing a delivery address after payment.
So at this point the buyer has 48 hours after purchase to pay, if they don't pay you file any unpaid item case.
They pay you ship to address on the transaction page, they don't pay you have to close the case to get your final value fee back and can relist at then.

Always log into Paypal to make sure the payment is there, never let them ask for your email they can & will fake Paypal payment emails.

Read up on unpaid item cases here so you know what to do because if you don't close a case out you don't get your fees back.

The buyer has already paid for the transaction.

According to the OP's first post, "The person bought it, and before I was going to ship it (it hasn't been shipped yet) they messaged me saying this . . . "

There is nothing in the poster's comment that would indicate the item has not been paid for.
