Re: **bleep** is up with ebay

ebay has  been messing with the display of postage

I only use 1st class with USPS and MP always has it marked as priority

I did not think you could send a changing table  by first class but thats what it says you did

@juaalv-2163

Did you really ship a changing table with a 4 ounce First Class postage label for $3.99?   I have a feeling you don't know what you are doing  (and need to get some training on how to sell and ship) .

This could be a costly mistake for you.  It costs about $125 to ship that table from CA to MN using the USPS ... don't be surprised if you suddenly get a $120 charge from the USPS on your account.

Re: **bleep** is up with ebay

You've made so many mistakes here, @juaalv-2163.

  • You listed as new even though your one and only (sideways) photo shows numerous black marks and damage. You didn't even put in a description of the item.
  • You shipped it First Class. How did you manage that one? Print out a label with the wrong dimensions and weight and *fingers crossed* that the USPS wouldn't catch you? I don't know why USPS is showing that it's delivered. Did you actually ship the table or did you ship something small in an envelope that qualifies for First Class. It's not doll furniture, is it?
  • None of your listings have any description.
  • Those "infant clothes" -  three tabletops worth of clothing - there is no possible way you can ship that First Class, either. You need to learn how to set up accurate shipping methods and costs in your listings. Enter accurate box dimensions and weight. Use calculated shipping, not flat rate.
  • At least the bath set uses Priority Mail, however it's not at all possible that the rate shown will cover what you're selling. It looks like you may even be dealing with large products that incur dimensional weight charges. Another disaster waiting to happen.
  • You listed diapers which is something sellers haven't been able to sell without approval since the pandemic started last year. eBay still hasn't lifted those restrictions so you need to take down that listing or risk suspension. Sell the diapers locally.

If you're going to sell with shipping, you need to learn how to ship. This isn't like FaceBook Marketplace where you can post a pic with no description because the buyer's going to come pick  it up and inspect before they go home.

As a brand new seller, you have a lot to learn and more to worry about than whether or not eBay will release that payment for the table before the 21 day hold applied to all new sellers' payments.
