What is the best method of sending a large 600mm Nikon lens?
UPS? FED EX? or USPS?
Im concerned about damage of the fragile item.
I sent a few other large telephotos in the regular USPS, and they did ok.
But this is much larger and more valuable than the previous lenses.

well I would say it is all in the packing... all shippers are tough on packages, and even use each other..planes, and delievery...so it all reall the same..
so super packed well really well --using good packing material=not just peanuts and paper... box in box...
..and Insurance....

I would use USPS Priority mail VERY well packed, I also would add insurance for that lens (that is an expensive lens). Make sure there is at least 3 inches of packing material all around and you should be fine. I've shipped a lot of lens's on eBay and never got one back. If you're going to use peanuts or similar material, make sure you seal the lens in a zip lock bag (or two) so the foam doesn't get into the lens. Double boxing is not a bad idea either.

Me too! Think there's an adapter for my eBay camera?

You might have to make 2 boxes. 1 for the lens with 3" of bubble wrap on it. 2 for the outside box with at least 3 inches of peanuts That might save You some postage IF You can get the measurements so they aren't over limits.
