anyone having trouble using their label printer

so i am wondering if anyone has figured out how to get their 4x6 label printers to work with the new shipping page set up? first off, whenever i select what size label i want, it doe not make that label for me. no matter what i choose it makes me a full page label with the label on top and the packing list thing on the bottom. it wont even make me a png file. i finally decided to get a label printer last week so i got a dymo 4xl and all the write ups i have seen for how to set it up for ebay are for the OLD shipping page format, which im sure you guys know is no longer available. but in any case, the new page wont even set me up with a 4x6 label to begin with. i am beginning to wonder if dealing with all these new changes that have made it take longer to list and ship is worth the abount of money i make doing this. its been my side gig for over 10 years but i would almost rather just go work overtime at my actual job.

i dont mean to rant. is anyone else having this issue with not being able to pick a label format? or rather you can still choose a format, but it does not actually give it to you? thanks

Have you tried using the eBay authorized label provider pirateship?

It does not appear you are Top Rated yet so it would make financial sense to use pirateship until you are Top Rated. Pirateship gives you commercial pricing, $100 insurance and cubic pricing. eBay is only giving $50 insurance if you are not Top Rated and no cubic pricing.

After you are Top Rated switch to eBay labels as eBay will then give you $100 insurance and commercial pricing less a 3% discount (but no cubic pricing). In some circumstances small packages may be cheaper via pirateship's cubic pricing even with your Top Rated eBay discount.

At least use pirateship as a backup.

The last label I printed from Pirateship downloaded as a 4" x 6" pdf file (1200 x 1800 pixels @ 300ppi).

If eBay is adding unwanted information to the label that you don't want you might consider using a external application to batch crop your labels. Many batch watermarking applications also batch crop images. I've used a custom Action in Adobe Acrobat Pro for more than a decade to auto crop folders full of  labels outputted from eBay's old label system.

When you create the label and ready to print, there is a format option on the right side of the new page.  Select the 4"x6" option.

Also, you want to make sure your browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe, and not its builtin reader.

If still a problem come back with OS and browser you are using.  Also a screen shot of the entire label preview with help.
