accidentally got two UPS shipping labels for the same package

Hi,

I was shipping a package by UPS. I got a label but then realized I forgot to input the package dimensions so the price wasn't right. I went back and got a second label with the correct weight and dimensions. I didn't print and didn't use the first label that was wrong. I used the second label. Now eBay appears to think I have a multipackage shipment when it is really just one package. I dropped off the one package that has the correct label at UPS this evening. What can I do about the other label that I'm not going to use? My concern is that eBay is going to think I didn't ship everything.

Don't worry about it. You won't be billed for UPS labels that aren't used and it's not uncommon for sellers to err and print a second label. As long as one of the labels has tracking / delivery status that's what counts. The order will switch over to delivered status once that label shows a delivery scan. If the buyer has any questions let them know the first label had an error so you generated a new one and to go by tracking number [xxxxxxx].

Thank you. Yes, I read UPS doesn't bill you for the label until it is scanned. Mainly my concern was that eBay would think there are two packages that are supposed to be shipped when there is really only one. I also went to the eBay chat support and they basically told me the same thing... that the extra shipping label is of no concern. I already messaged the buyer and told them that I goofed and to ignore the one tracking code that won't be used.
