accidentally gave a partial refund

i accidentally offered a partial refund which the buyer accepted. I did not know he would still keep the item, so i want to know if i can switch it back to a full refund where I get to get my item back. He also has not recieved the money back though he only accepted it. please help.

If he accepted it he received it or it is pending

There is nothing you can do but learn from your mistake.

Why do you think a buyer would accept a partial refund and return the item too?  You offered a partial refund and he accepted your offer.  Refund the person's in accordance with your agreement and be done with it.
