Is there any way to print shipping/ return labels with a thermal printer? I've seen all kind of walkthroughs FOR EBAY BUSINESS, but I'm not using that part of ebay. I ship 4-5 things a year.

Your Zebra for shipping labels will work for a personal ebay account as well.
On the create label page look to the right and click on Show More, then scroll down to the label format and click Change. Select the PDF 4"x6" format.
Make sure you browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader.
If still a problem come back with OS, browser, and printer model you are using.

You should find PirateShip far easier to use.
Link eBay account and add credit card. No monthly fees - just the cost of labels. They also offer Cubic Parcel Select and Priority, which eBay does not.
Change label settings to 4" x 6" PDF and download to computer. This creates a PDF pixels per inch (1200 x 1800), which can be enlarged slightly while outputting a suitable quality label for scanning. Use your computer print dialog window to alter the printed size of the PDF file.
