I don't have a printer. I can save $1.00 if I print a label, instead of doing it at the counter.
Can I just print the mailing label with the delivery conformation? And just write that on the label?
Or if I go to staples and bring a USB drive with me, how much would it cost to print 1 sheet?
I just went to staple's site. Is it really 14 cents?
If that's the case, I'm only out 14 cents, instead of 98 cents that the post office will charge.

If you purchase a label from ebay or paypal you need to print it and tape it to the package.

I'm just asking.

My library charges 10 cents per page for printing. They have a set up where the printers have email addresses, so you email the file you want to print to the printer's email address, then you go to the library and pay for it and it prints out. It's worth looking for similar services in your area.
It's a good idea to print the label to a pdf file first, then print the pdf file.

My local library doesn't have printers. Only computers. And those computers are out in the open, where anyone can see what you're doing.

My suggestion is to buy yourself a printer. They can be purchased relatively cheaply and being able to print and copy things is going to be a great advantage in running your business.

Printers are not cheap. I only sell 1 or 2 things a month. It is not worth it to buy one.
And then ink is also expensive.

Yes, 14 cents plus postage.

Frankly, I don't see how anyone can get by running a business without a printer, but you are correct ink is expensive. However, printers are relatively inexpensive these days as is paper. I would suggest one with a flat bed making scanning documents relatively easy. This allows you to save receipts and things on your computer and only actually print what you need.

Unless you live at/near or work at/near a Staples, then you are also out the cost of transportation to get there.

Well, you need one now, or you wouldn't be asking us about it.
You can still generate your Shipping label on-line in order to avoid the over-the-counter retail price, and you can "print" the label to a PDF file to make it easy to move around. At that point you just need to find the nearest printer that's accessible to you.
I'm finding it a little difficult to believe that your local library has no means for patrons to print something (have you asked?), but if that's definitely the case, do you have any friends nearby to whom you can email the PDF for printing? If you're only needing to do this once or twice a month, they should be okay with that.

It's only 10 minute walk from my house. About a quarter mile.

You do not live by me, so you can't tell me that they have printers when for a fact I know they don't.
I didn't come up here asking about buying a printer.

The Jersey City Library website's rules of conduct about using their computers say that the charge for printing is 20 cents per page; see point #6. I suppose that policy might be out of date. Whether it's accurate or not, you're better-off going to Staples.

I found your original post confusing ("Can I just print the mailing label with the delivery conformation? And just write that on the label?"). You do have to print out the label and attach it to the package; you can't just copy off the address and tracking number by hand.
