Just a curious poll, what are your nominations for worst shipping hub locations?
I'm not counting holiday problems, just in general.
It seems like my top 3 choices for delays, lost, or mis-shipped items are:
Chicago, Ill., (total black hole of lost (stolen) & delayed packages)
New Jersey, (entire state)
Portland, Oregon, (you can guess why if you watch the news)

Anything in Florida...even the people who live there are complaining about their delivery service.
And let's not forget Glendale Heights....which is the hub of Chicago....Glendale Heights...population of 33,000. Will Chicago take snow plows out of Chicago to help that hub during a bad snow storm? Does Glendale Heights have a snow plow?

I don't know why, but I've noticed the northern route from coast to coast is twice as slow as the southern shipping route, anyone else have similar results?

Seems that you have posted about living north of San Fran at some point in time. Did you see anywhere in that area that did not have a snow plow ? 😂
I suspect the Glendale Heights eBay operation has bigger problems than snow. The DHL location is just a trip and a fall from where the eBay stuff comes in. Someone will keep it clear of snow.

"Living north of San Fran"...I live IN San Francisco in Pacific Heights...where it never snows.
Guess we will see what a big snow storm does to the hub in Glendale Heights this weather.

I get items from west coast hubs and I have to admit they are rather good.
