Won't allow me to edit my shipping policy

I'm trying to edit/update one of my shipping polices. I'm on tab for account-business policies, on a desk top. Every time I edit I receive an error message.  "Please provide the correct information in the highlighted fields
This policy is the same as your existing policy Flat:USPS media mail 1 business day. You can either use your existing policy or make changes to this one.
Saving changes to a policy will also update any active or scheduled listings where it's being used. Make sure you know which listings will be affected before saving changes."

This isn't about the category, I'm under my business policies, not a specific listing. Can anyone point me to the solution? Thank you.

The problem is you have an existing policy with the same exact parameters @cubano4u, and eBay won't allow a duplicate.

The solution is not to edit the policy. It's to see which listings are using that policy, then edit those listings and switch them over to the existing policy with those parameters (Flat:USPS media mail 1 business day).

Then the policy you were attempting to edit will have no listings tied to it and you can delete it. It can take 10-30 min for the system to recognize the changes so you may not be able to delete immediately after switching.

If you want to make any changes (renaming, etc), you can do so to the policy that already exists with those parameters (Flat:USPS media mail 1 business day).

Thank you for your reply. I only have six listings using MM. I went to each of them and made the changes I wanted, individually. I will wait until tonight or tomorrow to see if the system will allow me to delete this policy and create a new one. Still getting error messages at this point. Gets frustrating after spending so much time on something so small. Thank you.

No prob. I'd check in an hour to see what the status is @cubano4u.

The green highlighted section in this screenshot will show you how many listings are tied to the old policy. When it says 0 you can delete it.

If it still shows a number then clicking on it will show you which listings are affected. If any of those listings are the 6 you manually edited, then the page just needs more time to update before you can delete the policy.
