Will USPS accept a photo of a package pick up tag?

Somehow I missed my lady and she left a package pick up tag. it's like 9 miles into town and my husband happens to be working on a job site right next door to the post office.

Cnn I send him a photo of the tag and have him use that to pick up the package?

I agree, try calling the PO but they might be too busy to answer.  IMHO hubby should try it anyway especially if the address on his ID matches.

As another stated, Should be able to pick up on person with id, as the tag is simply a note, unless it has to be signed (the note)?

I'm a mail carrier. Yes he can pick up the package UNLESS it is restricted delivery then only the person who it is addressed to can sign. This is rare, even with standard signature delivery he would be able to sign for it.
