Why is eBay populating different dimensions on the "Purchase a label" page?

This has happened a few times now, always on listings with these dimensions (I have several that I ship in the same bubble envelope). I've corrected them each time, and the $ doesn't change so it hasn't cost me anything (yet) more than a few seconds, but why is it happening at all?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your point (no pun intended), but on the listing screen we can't enter decimal points.

Did you look at the screenshots I posted? Above the orange line is the EDIT page of my listing, showing only integers which is how I listed it; below is the PURCHASE LABEL page for a recent sale of that listing where eBay populated decimals into the form. That's my point.

But you bring up another point (pun intended). Why are decimals accepted on the label page when they're not on the listing page? Why the inconsistency?

It has happened to me to. I don't know why, I have never added a decimal point, I always round up the next number.

Also - do you use third party listing software or are you creating your listings directly on eBay?

We offer free shipping.
When we create listings, we choose the Shipping company, and leave the weight and dimensions alone.
So when we start to create a lable, There is 1 once in the weight, and "1" in each of the dimension boxes.
The only time we see pre-filled in weight and dimensions is when we use somebody else's listing to create our listing.
"Have one like this to sell? Sell Similar"

I didn't do that on these - no other seller offers these, or anything close enough for me to have used.

No, I make my own listings.

I just had to manually change the dimensions back to integers before buying the label.
