Once again I hit to fact that Paypal will "steal" 5 % out of foreign currency transaction in case order is "fully refunded" by eBay.
This time I purchased something which price was xxx in USD, and seller desided to cancel the order (was not free delivery after all). My EUR credit card was charged yyy in EUR, which includes Paypal's currency conversion fees. Next day, due to eBays's refund, my credit card was return yyy - 5 % which means, that I lost 5 % and I cannot avoid that, because seller caused cancellation.
From eBay's side they see "Full Refund", because their systems shows that they refunded 100 %, but their only brokers, Paypal, is problem source and they are not willing to return anything, their customer service is really bad. From customer's point of view this is really annoying and unpredictable.
I wonder why eBay do not offer other and better payment methods, such as Google Pay, Apple Pay or something more trusted services? And I do not understand why I have to suffer from sellers faults? And why eBay can advertise "Full Refund", because it is full refund only when foreign currency is not used?? Is this legally right to force customers to use Paypal, if eBay knows these problems already?
