Why does new packing slip include a phone number? Is it the buyers number?

I just printed a packing slip on the new system. Too much information included. Usually got two/three to a full page. Then I noticed that a phone number was listed under the buyer address.   Personally, I would not want my phone number given to just anyone, as it is unlisted for a reason.  Thanks for the help.

It is the buyer's number.

Yes. The point is label has too much information. I wouldn't want my unlisted number given out to anyone. Just wondering if others feel the same.  Thanks.

Is there a box anywhere that you can check to undo that?

The buyer's phone number is already in the order details so sellers have access to it whether or not it is on the packing slip.  But I have to agree that there isn't a need for it to be on the packing slip.

I always print my packing slips through sellers hub. From what I understand those packing slips are slightly different than the one with ebay labels.

Not sure if you do International but it is quite normal sending to China with telephone number on address.

Buyers in China actually insist on this.

I think most people have their telephone number somewhere in eBay if you are a seller. I guess that's why I get so many scam phone calls and texts nowadays.
