Why I have to return to China

Why when I buy stuff from a USA seller in USA and the address where it came from in the USA and if  I received it damaged or not as describe I have to return it to China . And eBay and PayPal stand with the seller in this any solution or we are been ripped off

It would help if you could post an example on one of the items you are talking about. Do you have an recent item number or can you post a screen shot like the one attached below.

If you receive an item which is not as described or broken, the seller is responsible for return shipping costs under the eBay MBG program. You open a "not as described" or "doesn't work or defective" case in the Resolution Center and wait for the seller to respond. If they don't respond within 3 days you ask eBay to step in.

Who pays for return shipping?

The seller pays for return shipping if they offer a free returns policy or if the item was damaged, faulty, or doesn’t match the listing description.
If the seller is paying for return shipping

There are several ways you can send an item back to the seller. If the seller is responsible for the return shipping costs, they'll let you know how they want the item to be sent back to them. Generally, they’ll ask you to send the item back using one of the following:

An eBay return shipping label: learn how to print an eBay return shipping label
A label from their preferred carrier: if the seller provides you with a shipping label, they’ll send it to you directly, and you can print it from the “Your postage label is ready” email or message that you’ll receive in Messages.

Do not allow them to talk you into buying the label and letting them reimburse you when they receive the return. If they try that, talk to eBay and tell them you are covered by the MBG and want either eBay or the seller to provide you with the return label. Be sure the label they send you includes tracking.

I always try to pay for eBay purchases with a credit card through PayPal as that gives you a 3rd line of protection if eBay and PayPal don't protect you.

If the item you bought had an item location of USA, whether it was actually sent from USA or from China, you are only obligated to return it to the location as it was listed.

A seller can ask for an item to be returned to China, but they have to accommodate that shipping.  They either need to provide a valid return shipping label, or they can supply funds to your PayPal account for you to purchase the return shipping that will cover TRACKED shipping to the China address.  If they do neither, then escalate the return with the reason being that the seller is not accommodating return shipping.

I'm not sure what happened, but if you opened up a return request with a Money Back Guarantee return reason within 30-days of receiving the item, then the seller is responsible for accommodating return shipping as I wrote above.  eBay will stand behind you.

There are some reasons why eBay will not:

• You opened up the return request beyond the 30-day window.
• The reason for your return request is not a Money Back Guarantee reason, and the seller denied your return.
• You are not eligible for the Money Back Guarantee.
