Who reschedules delivery when returning an item to seller?

Hello, I sent back an item because I received it damaged, it has been shipped but USPS was not able to make delivery, first time there was no access and the 2nd time it was deemed that the area was unsafe for the package so the delivery driver took it back to the office and now the tracking information says the package needs to be rescheduled for delivery or picked up. What do I do as the buyer? Do I need to reschedule delivery?

Don't bother. eBay already considers your return Delivered. Just contact eBay @isellknivesandknifeaccessories by phone (Google "eBay number") or social media and ask to ESCALATE your return. eBay will look at the tracking, then force a refund.

The receiver(in this case the seller) does no matter who paid the postage


This is a user to user board not eBay employees.

The person who would receive the package is who needs to reschedule delivery.

 

However don't worry over much about it. The scans you are seeing are scans typically used when a delivery point has been missed. I have had to scan a package thus these past 2 days due to a slip that took out 3 of my mailboxes. Two of the three customers have made arrangements (put their mail on hold till the road crew is done) but the guy with the package has not. They are driving to their house through a field and playing in the mud. I am not going to risk getting stuck and delaying my route or damaging my Jeep, so I will continue to scan it "no access" till the box is back up.

 

I wish they would give us a "other" scan with a explanation field.
