Where is my package?

I am currently trying to find a package that said it was delivered. I contacted Fedex and they will get back to me with the result of my case on November 18th. I was wondering what I do if they can not find my package. I know packages have insurance on them. Do I ask the buyer for a refund and then they go through Fedex for the insurance money? I contacted the seller to let them know I’m having problems but they haven’t contacted me back yet. I just wanted to let them know Fedex misdelivered the package.

Tell FedEx you just need them to say it wasn't delivered to you.

 

File the police report, and at ic3.gov as well.  


I'd say it's time to call the Postal Inspectors, they are not just over USPS but all carriers.

Where is my package?

So. I got my money back. I understand it is a process but wow was it a process!!! I was told by the the appeals department that sometimes it is a process when I asked if this ever happens again do I always need a police report. So in the end I called eBay and FedEx multiple times a day and received all types of information that lead to me making a police report because nothing else worked. I spoke to managers, supervisor and costumer service representative on both sides. I even spoke to people on Twitter. I learned that if you go through PayPal and they rule against you eBay is done with you completely and you can not get your money back. I was told my refund request was closed early because when tracking shows an item delivered after 24hrs the request is automatically closed. This is good for future reference. I was also told that proof at the beginning of my refund request would’ve been better (duh) but I do not know how much this would’ve mattered for the case because FedEx wouldn’t give me any proof. I was also told that FedEx does give out proof and they don’t know why the location closest to me didnt (this was by a supervisor when I called eBay, but I have no validation.). Anyway, after calling eBay multiple times in one night I finally got a manager and he told me I could file a police report for proof or show the tracking updated as misdelivered or something. I just went with the police report which you can file online and I did. What got me annoyed is that FINALLY a FedEx repressive told me my package trace had not been updated since November 16th and it was the dang 20th!! They were still waiting on the driver to trace the package. I wonder if they could e given me the proof I needed when there hadn’t been any definitive updates. I do not deal with FedEx often and when I do there is almost always a problem. I’m going to start picking up my packages at my nearest location or asking sellers to not use them. I rather pay extra if need be for usps or ups. Where I live they are very reliable but not FedEx. I started this post as a first hand account to maybe help someone else out but I do not know how much this will help. I tried all the recommendations and in the end FedEx just would not help me out. It would’ve been nice to receive help from the seller too. It would have moved along quickly. The seller got to keep their money and eBay refunded me.
