Hi,
I just had a question regarding permanent stamps which I couldn’t find the clear answer to.
So, currently, P stamps are $0.90 in booklets/coils, and $1.05 individually.
I am aware that they are good to send a regular >30g letter, but,
When I use them on oversized lettermail, what is their value? $0.90 or $1.05? If I’m mailing oversized lettermail that is less than 100g, ($1.90), do I need 2 permanent stamps or 3?
Thank you.

From what you describe, I would assume that their true value is $1.05, what you pay for them as individual purchases. $.90 would be their discounted price when bought in bulk.
After all, when you're using one for its intended purpose, no one is going to know how it was packaged originally (i.e. whether a single unit or multi-pack/coil), so an individual stamp is worth what its individual purchase price would be.

The Canadian P stamp counts as 90 cents when you use it on any envelope. Even though the charge for a single stamp is more, it’s true value is .90.
