What happen to shipping

Hi,

I am trying to figure out why shipping on eBay for flat rate boxes has gone up. Was there a shipping price increase I am unaware of? Does anyone use a different outlet than shipping through eBay? I've heard about Stamps.com does anyone have experience on this site and is it cheaper? If I can't find a better solution I will be forced to increase all my prices which I would rather not do. Most of my items have free shipping but that may change. If someone could give me some direction for an alternate route or tell me where to find the pricing information on shipping that would be great. Also, I thought eBay had discounted pricing from USPS where is that?

Thank you for your help,
