Sold it...very nice lady after a few days wishes to return it because the middle ring moves around too much for her. She is well within the time frame for requesting a return. Two questions ...
1) It's an easy fix either solder it... or resize the one ring. Am I correct in returning it for that reason...or is it not a good enough reason because she should solder it to her liking...thus am I a pushover if I refund her?
2) Do I wait to get the diamond ring back before refunding her money... or is this a go ahead and file refund right a right away thing?

If you take returns, they can return for any reason or no reason at all.
Only refund after getting it back.

Just reiterating the above post, you have a 14-day return policy so a buyer can return it for any reason.
Do not refund their money until you have the ring in your hands.
