Missing the entire table for shipping exclusions.
I thought it would resolve itself after a day but it's been 5 days now.

I'm going to tag kyle@ebay devon@ebay and elizabeth@ebay on this one to get more info.

As you guys probably know, sellers can set up international shipping exclusions at both the account level and the listing level. In the past, it could also be done at both the account level and the biz policy level.

Circa March 2022 the ability to set up country exclusions at the account level disappeared as shown in the OP. I've reported it to eBay CS a couple times and there were a few posts on this board back then.

Can we get a confirmation from eBay:

- Is this actually a technical error? or

- Is it a change that eBay made a couple years ago exclusively to accounts using business policies? Are sellers using business policies no longer able to set country exclusions at the account level?

The reason I'm asking if this is tied to using business policies is because a couple other sellers I know encountered the same issue but only after they switched to using biz policies.

Here's a screenshot - the top half shows what I currently see and the bottom shows what I used to see before March 2022.

Let's see what eBay says @sbuysw but in the meantime, can you confirm if you recently switched to using business policies? Or did eBay switch your account to using biz policies without your knowledge? A lot of sellers have been switched to biz policies by eBay when their accounts were opted in to eBay International Shipping.

Here's some general info on biz policies that will show you how you can check if you're using them or not:

Business policies help me keep my sanity. Manage and edit them (or disable them to go back to how you used to set up your listings) on this page.

Once you set up your shipping policies and name them so you can easily identify them, you can go to your active listings and bulk edit to assign your new policies.

After the initial mess of policies that are created when you first sign up are no longer tied to active listings, you can delete them.

It takes a little time and work to set it up, but in my opinion it's well worth it.

I looked at my screenshots more closely and that info box has an added line on the top half of the screenshot mentioning biz policies. That last line isn't there on the bottom half of the screenshot.

So I think my assumption that this isn't a tech error, but is instead what sellers using biz policies see, is going to be what eBay comes back with. Biz policy users can no longer set up shipping exclusions at the account level like we used to.

Hey @wastingtime101 you are correct in your later post here, that this is due to being opted into business policies.  Those who are not opted into business policies will still have the table of exclusions available at the account level.  That being said, we will be glad to pass along a suggestion to have this available as it was in the past.

Thanks for the quick response kyle@ebay . Good to have a definitive answer.

The ideal situation would be to set up country exclusions at the account level, and if no exclusions are set up in a biz policy it would default to account level settings. But if shipping exclusions are set up within a biz policy, that would override account level settings.

The reason for this: if we want to make a change like adding a country to expand our reach or restricting a country we've had problems with, we currently have to update that exclusion on every single biz policy as opposed to one quick change at the account level.

This isn't at the top of my wish list, but it would be convenient if the change took place.

That explains it. Yes I recently opted into using Business Policies once I switched to using the Seller's Hub. Thank you for looking into this and clearing things up.
