SCAMMER!!!!

He has all positive feedback, but he tricks people into revising it.

Received an item over a month late. He claimed it was UPS fault, but it showed the item was never taken to the post office. I rated him negative. He told me if I changed the feedback he would accept return!! I kindly changed the feedback and he declined the return. I have reported him to eBay.

@rachel_725

Why do you want to do the return, and what reason did you use to try to get the return?  What was your feedback?

If the seller was selling the item as a "no returns" item, then you purchase it with that agreement.  Of course, a seller can override that agreement, but it is really up to their kindness as to whether or not to accept the return - returns are very costly to sellers.

Also, buyers will sometimes use negative feedback that is not really justified as a way to force a seller to change their return policy ... not saying you did this, but simply that it happens a lot.

Again, what is the reason you want to return the item?  If there is a problem with the item, then we can help you further with getting the item returned.

This is known as feedback extortion and is strictly prohibited on ebay.

IF indeed that happened through ebay messaging, it might make some sense to call CS and report the buyer and ask for a courtesy refund.

Then again, if the "facts" of this situation are a bit different - replies were unprofessional, buyer remorse was stated as reason for return, or something else then this might not work out favorably.

What your seller did was wrong and against the Ebay rules for sellers.  You should report your seller to Ebay.

If you paid with PayPal, you can go to their site and file a claim.  It is way too late to have a claim in Ebay.  But you still can in PayPal and then hopefully you can return the item for refund.  You will however have to pay for return shipping unless you have signed up with PPs free shipping program.
