Hi! Long story short....I listed an item accidentally with the Japanese size Large instead of the American size Medium. I included the measurements and mentioned that the pants run small. The buyer didn’t measure her waist. Of course, they don’t fit.
She has agreed to send them back; I’ve agreed to issue a refund. However I can’t figure out where or how to do that in My eBay. I’m guessing this is because I don’t accept returns.
The buyer has my address having just received the package. Can she just send it back to me and once I receive it can I issue her a refund through PayPal?
Life’s hard enough....hoping someone can provide me feedback so I don’t lose my mind when interacting with eBay’s customer service reps.

Tell your buyer to go to their Purchase History and select "Return this Item"from the drop down menu next to the item.

Have the buyer open a Item NOt as Described case and respond to the request immediately with a prepaid return shipping label and refund when item is received back. You will not earn a defect.

Common misconception, easy corrected, Yes, you do accept returns. Yes, you will pay for the return shipping and regardless of what is sent back to you, you will refund. It all happens automatically, no recourse, no say. This is ebay. In your case, it sounds like you have one of those extremely rare exceptions, an honest ebay buyer. a common feature in the past, a rare commodity today. Hope this goes well for you.

Thanks all for the help! I think it’s worked out now.
One other question....is there a way to set up my account so that I do offer (30 day?) returns and if something is returned they do pay for the return postage?
