What's the transaction ship to address? Is it your address or the wrong one?
The only way you would lose an INR case is if the ship to address is wrong in the transaction and it was shipped there. You say its a freight forwarding address, you don't use forwarding, do you? I would be checking my address in eBay and PayPal, changing my password in both, Checking my email addys in both and maybe even changing my bank account email and passwords.
There have been reports of HiJacked accounts where just the ship to address was changed and then the items would be forwarded to the scammer, but that's not an eBay issue or seller issue, that's a poor password issue.

Something similar: My $50 item shows as delivered, but even the USPS admits it was delivered to the wrong address. Am I out of luck? Is the "Money back guarantee on virtually every item" complete bull**bleep**?

If you want help with a problem, please start your own thread. Your issue is NOT the same as the OP.

I just had the exact thing happen to me yesterday. Delivered to the wrong town and the first attempt states business was closed. I'm not a business. Post office would not help. I checked my PayPal transaction and it does list my correct shipping address. Package was delivered yesterday to wrong address in wrong town.

It's pretty disconcerting when your order is sent to an unknown address, in a state you don't live in, to an address not on file in your ebay and paypal account, and have ebay rule in favor of the seller. It defies logic, if that's how it went down.
I don't get it.

and another thing, ebay favored the seller,, i was just **bleep** out of my money, that weird address that it went to was somewhere in ohio and i live in S.C.,,, i eventually traced the addres thru google and it turned out to be some kind of warehouse place,, i think someone hacked ebay and they are probably doing a lot of people that way,, but even after all of this i still lost, so someone in ohio has what i ordered and didnt get my money back either,,,, I HAVE NOT BOUGHT ANYTHING ELSE FROM EBAY SINCE,,, I JUST USE AMAZON

This is how it could have happened.
If your account was used fraudulently in the past, the crook would have put his or his forwarder’s address in the Ship To field. You may have gotten the hacking straightened out at the time, changed passwords, etc. but nobody told you to check your shipping address next time you made a purchase.
Then some time later when YOU actually went to buy something, the last address that was used (in your case by the crook even months ago) would have been prefilled in the Ship To field. You just hit Send Payment like you always do because you never used an alternate address before so didn’t think to double check the address.
So the rugs you bought got shipped to the forwarder in Ohio. What you need to do is go to your PayPal account and find the link for previous addresses used. See if that Ohio address is there. I don’t know if you can delete it but see if you can.
When you go to make another purchase, click on edit or change or whatever it says next to Ship To. There you will see all the addresses that have been used in your purchase history. Select your address and it will default to that the next time you pay.
I bolded the part above about the last address used default because this issue comes up quite frequently. Many people are under the mistaken impression that their registered eBay or PayPal address is all that matters. Clearly it is not. Any address can be manually entered at checkout.
