Void shipping label curiosity and question...

I rarely void labels.  So I don't know much about it.
I voided a shipping label due to an issue.  I then bought a new one that I used.  

When I go to the page where I voided my shipping label.  If I click on the voided label's tracking, it shows the new label which is working and currently shipping.  Which is odd to me.  You can clearly see after clicking on it.  The tracking number is different.  Yes I checked multiple times that I was clicking the properly voided tracking number.   It gives the same information as the new shipping label which is directly above in my manage shipping labels area.  

I'm worried they'll reject me because they'll see activity but that isn't the correct label or tracking number being shown.  If they were to copy the tracking number of the voided label.  Which is listed in text, just not what shows when you click on it.  Then they put it in USPS tracking, they'll see it still just says tracking number created/pre-shipment.  Nothing else.  

So I guess I'm just asking, is that normal and they won't reject me based on that fact.  Thanks for any help.

Look on the Order Details page.  You may see both tracking numbers, but only the one that got scanned by USPS counts and will be used by ebay.

USPS is not going to look at what appears on the eBay tracking pop up @auctioneer242 

Enter the voided label number on USPS.com and since it wasn't used you shouldn't see any tracking scans. That's what USPS will look at when determining whether to grant your void refund.

Did you use/generate a scan sheet that day? Your voided label might have been the scan sheet and showing as used/moving in the system after the scan sheet was scanned (likewise, your replacement label would not be on the scan sheet.)

Hello, 

             Don't worry sometimes it takes the ebay servers a few minutes to update the tracking. I normally keep a copy of the voided shipping blill and I either print a copy of the new bill with the order number - for my records - But always the system has showed the good tracking information within a few minutes.
