5 days from the date you purchased. You click on Order Tab scroll to find Shipping Labels ..in the next page find the order click the drop down menu next to the item click Void Label.

You can void an unused eBay postage label up to 5 days after purchase.

Hey kyle@ebay. There are errors on the policy page linked above in the void label section.

"USPS: You have 5 days to void a USPS shipping label that you printed on eBay, and it can take up to 21 days for USPS to approve or reject the refund. If it's approved, you'll receive an email that you have been refunded"

This is not accurate. eBay does not send email confirmations letting you know if a void request was approved and refund issued. Sellers have to check their source of payment to see if a refund appears. I can confirm this from firsthand experience on my own account, and from the many sellers I've helped the past few years that came here asking how to know if they were refunded or not.

The only email eBay sends is confirmation that a void was requested shortly after the void link is clicked. But the void approved (refund issued) email does not exist.

"UPS: UPS labels can't be voided as you won't be charged until the package has been delivered"

Sellers are charged if a UPS label is used/scanned, regardless of whether it gets a delivery scan. I get what eBay was trying to say: timing of that charge is generally after delivery. But if a package is lost and not delivered, the seller is still charged because the label was used. Above language makes it sound like sellers won't be charged if a label is used, but package is not delivered.

"FedEx: FedEx labels can't be voided because you're not charged until the package has been delivered"

Thanks for the clarifications; I think I'll update my macro.

And eBay really should update that Help page; if Kyle doesn't respond, maybe re-publish it in the "Technical issues" board, which is the nearest thing we have for reporting content problems.

Hey @wastingtime101 excellent points on all three!  Thanks for bringing them up.  I'll be glad to pass these over!
