I shipped a golden buzz around mobility scooter.. the specifications of the item weight is 93lbs. With packing materials it was under there 120lbs. Limit and all well win m within the measurement requirements i paid $247. The item never arrived at its destination a week later i got a shipping adjustment of $1800. Ups claims it weight 297lbs. I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a human in the phone.

How have you been trying to get a human on the phone for two weeks? That is a awful long time not to be able to speak with someone.
Whoever sold you the UPS shipping label is who you would need to talk to.

Did you weight it? Could that weight spec been without the battery? Was the package shape irregular ? That is a biggie and can trigger extra cost. Have you checked the UPS sight for contact info?

Sorry to hear of your dilemma. You should have used a real freight carrier for an Item like that. R&L Carriers, SAIA, or another carrier like that. NOT UPS or FedEx.
Or sold it locally, no shipping.
