Unused Shipping Labels

I just completed several sales recently and, as a novice seller, set up several shipping labels which were incorrect. What do I need to do to get a refund from USPS for them? I set up new labels and shipped priority instead of standard shipping. The transactions are all in the past now and I don't know how to access the unused shipping labels. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Unused Shipping Labels

Within the seller hub, click the shipping label tab to the left of the page & find the label you need to void out. Then just select the void option & in about 10-14 days the USPS will issue a refund to your payment method.

Re: Unused Shipping Labels

In Seller Hub under Orders you will see Shipping Labels. You can void them there.

Re: Unused Shipping Labels

You can void an unused eBay postage label up to 5 days after purchase.

Re: Unused Shipping Labels

Do what the others stated. Make sure that you do NOT void a label that you used.  You might get a very angry customer who gets the package with postage due.  Go slow when you void!

Re: Unused Shipping Labels

A label that has been scanned can not be voided.

A "request to void" would not result in that label being voided.

The void would be declined by USPS and the package would not be delivered with Postage Due. That's why there's such a long delay in getting the refund for a voided label: USPS won't approve the credit until they're sure that you really didn't use it.   A while back a seller reported that they voided a label in error and they just never got the credit.

That's true.  Thanks for clarifying.
