The item I sold, buyer claimed it was fake shoes. I refused return because I knew they wer not. Designer name on shoes. Opened case, won case with providing valid proof for her feeling they were fake. I appealed, lost again. I obtained a receipt for the item from who I purchased from and sent to E-bay,that was not good enough. I asked what I could do to prove my side of the case, I did not get a response. E-bay proceeded with return, provided them a shipping label and stated when tracking shows it was delivered to me,they would issue a refund. In the meantime while item was still in transit, I e-mailed Manufacturer of item, and I sent pics of shoes and asked if they were made by them. I received the e-mail stating they were authentic after Ebay issued refund. I appealed again, but was denied because refund was given. She left horrible feedback accusing me of not selling real products. I have sold on e-bay since 2001,100% positive feedback, and she could ruin all that with 1 feedback like that. Top it all off shoes were not send back in original condition, loose strap.,not wearable or not able to re-sell. I took pics of these and sent in again, nothing so far back. So frustrated, I am a 67 yr old grandma and I depend on this for supplemental income. Any body out there have any ideas.

" Any body out there have any ideas."
Yep...I do.
You could have replied "Please return for refund".
You could have accepted the return & avoided a defect.
You could stop leaving false positive feedback for a buyer.
I see the buyer's comment has been removed (it was a positive)...I would not have replied the way you did...actually I would not have replied to a positive at all.

Yes, don't depend on eBay for supplemental income. Also, if your going to fight a SNAD claim, you better come here first and learn about them. If you really want to learn, click on my name and search for "SNAD" (no quotes) and read those posts. Right now, you most likely have a defect, you may want to look at your seller dashboard. It only takes a couple of those as a small seller to be banned for life on eBay. Good Luck.

If the buyer did not return the item in the same condition as received, you should report her and file a Mail Fraud Complaint with USPS. eBay needs to stop facilitating fraud/theft. And contrary to what some may say, it is not the "cost of doing business." Try returning or swapping out items in person and you will leave with what you (customer/buyer) came in with.

This is strange because you say they left horrible feedback.... but in several instances where I opened a case against a seller and won I was never given an option to leave any feedback. Maybe I could have if I had done so right away before I opened a case?
