Unable to change wrong tracking number for a Global Shipping Customer

Hi fellow sellers- I do not own a scale or printer so I have the USPS weigh all my packages, print the labels, and provide the tracking numbers to me on paper receipts that I then manually enter into the individual sales in my eBay Seller Hub and then mark as shipped.  However, today I accidentally entered the wrong tracking number to a buyer using the Global Shipping Program address in Erlanger, Kentucky.  But now I am not able to edit that tracking number.  Stupidly, I was able to add a second, correct tracking number to that order, which makes no sense as it is just one sale and one package, which now has two tracking numbers.  My problem is that the first, incorrect tracking number I entered is for a USA customer who lives in New Jersey and I am unable to enter that tracking number for his order as I get the Red Bar warning saying that tracking number is already in use for another buyer.  So even though I can Mark as Shipped the item for the New Jersey buyer, there will not be a tracking number in eBay even though there is one in real life because eBay will not let me edit out the that tracking number for the other buyer.  I believe I have entered the wrong tracking number before for USA customers and been able to edit and reload a new tracking number, but for GSP customers there is an immediate conversion to their own system that generates a second tracking number that looks like UPAAG00000002783xxxx.  Is there any workaround for this?

Your buyer only gets the GSP tracking number.  Your added correct tracking number to the KY should be enough to protect you with ebay.

Strange you weren't able to edit though.  Where were you trying to do so, on the order details?  If so try the edit from from here:  https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:PAID_SHIPPED

As far as the other order, that's going to be a problem, so I would contact ebay.

This is why it is best to create labels from ebay, even without a printer you can get a QR code to print the label at the post office.  Plus you get a nice discount.
