Open Question: Are any other sellers having problems with the USPS delivering Ground Advantage packages? I have experienced numerous lost or delayed shipments.  I purchased the mailing label from ebay, printed it on a self-adhesive label, and use quality shipping boxes.

I've noticed delays in delivery of a few packages, both ground advantage and media mail. But that is probably due to weather conditions where those items are going.
I had one item take all of July to get to my buyer.

I shipped July 2nd, estimated date of delivery was July 8, buyer finally received on July 30th.
It doesn't cause me to have late shipment defects because I ship within my handling time.

So I don't fret over it. My buyers don't get upset when there are delays, so I'm good there too.

Yes, I’ve had quite a few issues especially in Florida. I’ve had many packages arrive a day or two after the posted delivery date. A few packages took wild rides across the country.

Yes for me. I issued my first refund. Postage paid for through eBay.  No movement of package so opened a tracking case for the item with USPS. They called me and said it looks like package is stuck in Tennessee hub and they have seen some stuck there for weeks, if not a month.

Buyer was really patient and didn't ask for a refund but I didn't want buyer to think they were getting the run around, so I sent the refund.

I can file for a USPS refund after a month has passed.

Fingers crossed that your orders show up!

I hate USPS Ground Advantage  .Because of  the unexplained delays and bouncing around to the wrong sorting centers  .   as buyer i will pay extra  for priority  mail , and will pay for ups.

I'm not surprised  you had  and are having   unexplained  delay issue's.  .  The USPS has is of their  driver's and trucks not showing up to the yards for pick up  of shipping containers  to be loaded into the trailers.   Texas  the USPS can't get the ground advantage out  if   processed through  The Fort worth  USPS sorting center  .

I am seeing faster Ground Advantage Deliveries to many areas which makes me believe that volume is way off.

I am seeing some delays and bottlenecks in areas where there is labor hostility to recent USPS changes including sorting center consolidation. This too shall pass.

Yes, I have experienced lots of problems lately with delivery of eBay purchases shipped by USPS. Packages go into limbo for days. No tracking updates. In a couple of cases I opened a USPS Missing Mail Search request and this seems to have helped. When I go to my local post office the workers there seem very unhappy.

I have been reading that Louis DeJoy (USPS Postmaster General) has an aggressive 10 year plan to remake the post office sorting infrastructure.  (Read the wikipedia page on Louis DeJoy - this guy sounds like a real crook.) The plan -- called Delivering for America -- is a major restructuring. Local manual sorting is being scaled back in favor of building mega regional sorting centers. One of the first mega sort centers opened in Richmond, Virginia. It has been such a disaster that a federal investigation was opened to find out why mail delivery performance through the Richmond  center was so bad.

More and more I am looking for sellers who offer UPS as a shipping option. I no longer trust the US Post Office. I am happy to pay a bit more in shipping to make sure I get my purchases.

I have not had problems with USPS Ground Advantage.  I ship about two dozen packages a month from New Jersey and all have been delivered as expected.

I ship exclusively via GA and I am having zero problems. In fact, what I am typically seeing is that things wind up being delivered a day or two BEFORE the estimated delivery date.

As an example, I currently have one with an estimated delivery date of Saturday the 4th. Tracking shows that right now it is in the buyer's state just a few miles away from them, so it will most likely be delivered tomorrow.
