Wow what a disaster. I sold an item to a buyer in India and each time I try to print a shipping label it states that the USPS is having delay issues and that's as far as I can go. I have been trying to print this label for 3 days. I tried calling E-Bay today and guess what, the phone  service is not available. I have a buyer who purchased another item and he cannot go through with the transaction. This is a 1200.00 total sale, most of my items are fairly high end, so I am currently researching alternative auction sites. Currently this is just unacceptable business practice. Also, E-bay placed a notice that I am currently on vacation and the items that customers want to buy can be placed in their carts. This is total **bleep**, I am not on vacation and cannot be reached. I could accept an interruption in a server failure but this is beyond that. Has anyone heard if they have been hacked? If they were, I would assume that we would have heard something about it.

USPS

First of all it USPS not eBay that is restricting and preventing shipments to various countries so any other site you go to will have the same message.

Secondly I just checked a few of your listings and none of them say "on vacation".

I use pirateship.com. Just tried an India address that I found from a year ago. Does not say anything about the delays. Of course, I have not purchased the label but I would presume that they would warn about any problems before the purchase.

BTW, I would suggest to sign up for a free account anyway, to have a backup option when ebay experiences glitches.

They import you orders from ebay and post back the tracking numbers. You can also purchase insurance for both domestic and int'l orders (read the exclusions). You can ask them to sign you up for their simple international rate and you get 25-30% cheaper prices than ebay on

lighter parcels (up to 4 lbs). Their customer service is outstanding, email replies within 24 hours and a real chat. You can use you CC to pay for the labels, earning extra % on your CC purchases.

$1200 to India??

Good luck.

You are aware that it could take  months for the buyer to get that, and Ebay gives a very generous thirty days after the overly generous estimated delivery date to file an item not received claim...

India Post advises that the lockdown resulting from the COVID-19 crisis has been extended, but with certain relaxations. The availability of the air, rail and road network remains limited. However, a few cargo and evacuation flights are operating and are being used to dispatch outbound EMS items and tracked small packets to certain countries.

India Post continues to accept inbound international mail items. However, owing to limited domestic transport capacity, it still cannot guarantee to meet declared or otherwise agreed service delivery standards (including delivery time and other quality parameters)."
