Good day all, the USPS website lists the shipping price for Priority Small Flat Rate Box as 8.25 commercial base, 9.45 at the Post Office and online.
I use ebay shipping labels and get commercial rates when using First Class Packages.
Which rate will I get for Priority Small Flat Rate Box when shipping thru ebay?

If you use eBay for the label, you'll receive the Commercial rate... First Class or Priority.

eBay postage labels are priced at the standard online ("Commercial") rate, i.e., $8.25 for a small FRB. Top Rated Sellers are given a further 3% discount when purchasing Priority Mail postage.
You can use eBay's shipping calculator tool to see and compare online ("eBay") and retail ("in store") rates:

Just don't file an insurance claim. eBay will tell you to contact the postal service, and the postal service will tell you to contact eBay.

That wasn't my experience. USPS mailed me a check within a week of my filing a claim with them. (I was the seller/shipper.) You file the claim with USPS, not eBay.
(On the other hand, if you're a buyer and you receive a damaged item or your shipment goes missing, then yes, you file a dispute with eBay for either Not As Described, due to shipping damage, or Item Not Received.)

That sounds like a great experience. But was that before or after you switched to Managed Payments?

Weighs too much for 1st class. I'm just an individual selling years of accumulation. Nothing commercial. All I know is I engage shipping, after I received a notice I have been paid for an item.
