Note: Once you create a USPS shipping label, it can only be reprinted within 24 hours duration; however you will have 5 days to request voiding the label.

Read the above rule and make sure you dont lose money on USPS labels that you dont use.

For some reason or another you may not be able to print a label that you generate for your customers on ebay. You only have 24 hours to print these usps labels. If you dont print them or void the label within 24 hours the United State Postal Service will kindly keep your hard earned cash. This must be changed. I see no reason why we must be put in a block of time to print a label that we pay for.  The post office must be making millions of dollars profit on this.

I thought I was the only one confused 😉 I was under the impression that if you make a mistake, you void out the label; not ready to ship after the 12 midnight deadline, then you void it out.  I know that it takes awhile before the refund is issued, but in time the refund is issued for the voided label.  

And this was before my new habit of having my nightly beer 😉

Funny, but I have printed hundreds of labels on Sundays for items sold on Friday. I'm pretty sure that's more than 24 hours.

I think "generate" means "purchase." And you do have to print the label within 24 hours after purchase.

The shipping labels are generated in Adobe Acrobat, if you either save them OR just haven't let the program close, you can print them over and over and over for as long as you have the pdf.  When I print my labels, I do it over the course of the day and sometimes I forget to clear out the pdfs from the day before.  My volume is such that the program acrobat fills with pdfs and I have to close some of them down before 48 passes, but if it didn't I could print them forever.

Generate label, save to PDF, print when needed. If you wait too long to print, though, the date will be expired and your PO may not accept it. Packages are supposed to be put in the mail stream on the label date, but many POs will take them a day or two late. Some will not.
