It's too bad USPS doesn't give Ebay the same shipping considerations as Amazon. Again my package was due today but it isn't going to happen. Don't know when I will get it. It just says in transit to next facility. The last place it left was the same state as sender.

Probably would if Ebay itself could deliver large amount of packages to USPS. But Ebay does not, individual sellers deliver their shipment to USPS.

Why would they, Ebay doesn't ship anything like Amazon does.

And even Amazon packages don't always arrive on time, either. On more than one occasion I've had mine arrive a day after the day they said it would be delivered.

The only packages I have gotten from Amazon via USPS (USP the same) were shipped by individual sellers using Amazon fulfilment. Everything else has been delivered by Amazon trucks.
Even the ones delivered by Amazon, I have had a few late deliveries.

Between weather and the CA wildfire situation…many packages are delayed.
Be patient…the USPS will deliver your package.

Once the package is in the hands of the post office whomever it is from is irrelevant. Or do you actually believe that the routine workers on the line pick and choose which package to move and which not?

Apples to oranges: Amazon has their own vehicles, thus their own shipping service when you purchase from them.
Packages are not necessarily "due today". You saw an ESTIMATED delivery date. Don't know where you are located, but bad weather has caused delivery delays for the USPS in many places. Unless you ordered a life saving device on eBay, why not wait a few days? You do know you have the Money Back Guarantee, right?

@soh.maryl"apples to oranges" was my first thought too.
Different services, logistics, weather, and the people, trucks and planes they use are all seen as the same Wonder Delivery Service.

It's been a long time since I've had an amazon order with less than a 4 day del estimate and usually 5-7 (w/ prime). They get sent either USPS or UPS where I live. While they always arrive on time so do the vast majority of packages I send via USPS, so I doubt they give too much preference to amazon other than Sunday delivery.

I've had more problems with late packages with Amazon then I have had with Ebay.
I've had a couple that didn't show up for weeks and these were packages being delivered by Amazon.

Depends on the PO.
Ours have a spot for Amazon packages and they get loaded before the rest.
