USPS scan and tracking

Hi

please advise me what the difference of the post office scanning package or not but always have a tracking number on my receipts?
I’ve had some apparently not scanned and was reflected on my shipping performance. My packages are always taken to my post office and my receipt has the tracking and I input on the buyers purchase. I am not a eBay store just a small seller.  I don’t print a label, long story.
thank everyone who can advise me, I’d really appreciate it.

USPS scan and tracking

When the post office receives your package, they scan the bar code on the package label. If you are hand writing labels instead of printing them, you will never get the scan. Will result in poor performance on your performance measures even though you are doing everything correctly. I don't know any way around this. Plus, you don't have proof of delivery either, as the post office can't scan that they delivered it. Will continue to be a problem for you.
