USPS proof of Value

Hi, An item was broken in shipping. USPS is stating the case is being denied for not providing proof of value.  What screens exactly show proof of Value? I have sent screen shots of the Transaction?  It is not a large ticket item. It was packed carefully and shipped insured. Needs Specific Screen Name and how to find it. Thank You.

USPS proof of Value

I used to work at USPS and packages aren't treated well except for those that have a high dollar amount of insurance on them, those are carefully placed to the side to be processed, but all other packages are literally thrown into boxes with the corresponding zone they are being shipped to. If you are shipping a glass vase and have it packed well with lots of bubble wrap and foam, it can still get damaged if a heavier package is thrown on top of it, and if it is on the bottom with over 100lbs of packages on top of it. Writing "Fragile" or "Handle with care" mean nothing. We had a time limit to get stuff sorted and on the right truck by 6am and nobody took the time to read what a customer wrote. All we cared about is the state and zip code the package was going to so we could throw it in the correct box. The post office doesn't handle packages well unless you insure something for thousands of dollars.

USPS proof of Value

Even with Proof of Value they will just blame you for not packing correctly and pay you $0.00.

Insurance (purchased or included) covers 'lost' only (99.9% of the time).
