My local office here in Iowa had a change that started this Monday that is a bit unbelievable....
Since we have been shipping in the late 90s, we pack & label every day. We have a 2 pickups each day, appx 10am & 3pm. The packages are picked up normally during our mail delivery. Then taken to the local office, the truck picks them up around 5pm & they head to Des Moines, our closest sort facility. They are processed & nearly all of our packages are headed out of state by midnight. Pretty normal, standard for everyone; I think?
But starting this past Monday, they now pick up packages from me as normal; but the outbound truck does not pickup them up at night. Instead, they sit at the local office until the following morning then head to Des Moines. We've had packages so far thru 3 days not showing as scanned as arrived in Des Moines. Quite the cluster.
We have restarted the SCAN forms, but it's a bit unwieldy here on eBay with needing to use bulk shipping to get it. Additionally, as we sell on 8 different sites it isn't exactly efficient.
Mainly looking to see if anyone else out there is seeing a change like this as well.

New Hampshire has had this for the last few months. Delivery times are slower and packages that are held up or lost have increased.
My last negative was from a lady that claimed package did not come one day after Ebay estimated time. She was told to file and had to wait another 3 days. She filed and I refunded and her package arrived the next day.
She was one of the nastiest customers I have ever had. She claimed I called her a scammer and all I said was to file because of scammers. \
I think there is going to be more dissatisfaction and hope Ebay can react to changing times.

Your buyer doesn't under stand that it is USPS estimated time frame ,that eBay has nothing to do with it . These buyers are use to amazon . Did request a call back from a ebay rep for removal of the feedback do to USPS delivery delay.

It seems to be happening all over the US. I blame the artificial idiocy that USPS invested millions into in 2023 iirc. They said it was to help with "routing" when they were already being routed more efficiently and effectively than they are now, by leaps and bounds.
Re: the feedback, that reminds me of how once on a Facebook group post I repeated the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but can't make him drink" and was accused of calling someone a horse.
People are strange but they also seem to only be able to read 1-3 words and then get triggered. I've noticed it on these boards too. They skim over a post and then hop on their high horse (oops - here I go again) but they tend to miss the context or other key points in the post. Makes me wonder what issues that behavior causes them in their real lives.

I too am in NH and I am not seeing the same behavior every day or affecting all of the first sorting centers my packages travel through,
For years I have heard USPS employees bad mouth shipments to Canada saying Canada Post does not let the truck leave a PO unless it is full.
I have expected USPS to implement the same policy.
The bulk of my shipments go to Nashua. Usually they are scanned some time after midnight, so they show as next day. Sometimes they are not scanned for an additional day. Either my local PO does not ship to Nashua every day or someone is misplacing the shipments.
There are two sorting centers in MA which some destinations ship through most of the time. When they reach those centers is more variable. Sometimes same day, sometimes two days later. I assume volume to those sorting center is having an effect.
I do not have the same chop busting customers some other sellers have. I do not sell items which buyers have a huge choice of suppliers for and am not selling things which are urgent or necessary. I also have a long handling time, which I always beaten unless the item cannot be found.

That's because eBay uses our "historical" shipping data to give the buyers an unrealistic expectation of when something will arrive, so changing the handling time does nothing until such time as you consistently use those 4 handling days.
eBay consistently shows my buyers that they can expect items with a delivery range that starts a day before my shipping day to one day after my shipping day. (even to far away zones)
