USPS Tracking Updates Are Not Being Given

Anyone experiencing this lately?

I have 3 USPS packages (2 separate days) that have USPS acceptance scans, but nothing after that.  I sent 2 out on Monday, one on Wed.  (Today is Friday).  Other packages that have gone out since then are moving along in the system.

What say ye, Ebay community?

As long as you have acceptance scans within your handling time you won’t get a defect. 
Many post offices hire a third party transport service to haul mail from one post office to the next, they are supposed to scan packages but often don’t. 
I sent a package going to a DPO on Monday, it was scanned accepted at the post office here in Louisiana then nothing for several days, it was finally scanned at Chicago international distribution center yesterday.

I came here to see if anyone else was having this issue. I too have a sale from Monday that stopped updating after "USPS is in possession of item" Starting to seem like a tracking bug.

I received a purchase (different id) sent via Media Mail from Chicago to 40 miles west of Houston faster than a buyer of mine received their item via Priority Mail from west of Houston to California. Tracking didn't update for 2 days after acceptance on the Priority box.

Used to, my shipments would be processed into the Houston sorting facility same day/evening that I sent them.  Not anymore. Now it looks like it just sits at my rural PO, but it's probably just sitting at one of the 2 sorting facilities in Houston. They supposedly opened a 2nd sorting facility to alleviate the strain on the main hub, but now things just sit twice as long as they did before the 2nd facility was even added.

Hi,  We here in New Jersey have had this happen on occasion (although not often.) We have actually had a few packages show only two scans.  "Accepted & Delivered."  However, in defense of USPS - In 13 years of selling on eBay we have never had an order not make it to its destination.  Jus' Sayin'!

i had a recent package only show that label was created .... and then nothing ..

my carrier knows how important the acceptance/pick-up scan is as he also sells .. i keep checking for a couple days and still nothing ..

i see that i have a "mark" on my ebay scorecard .. down to 95 ish % ..

recheck tracking on the item .. now says delivered with ALL of the tracking scans now populated ..

ebay removed the defect after a day or so ...
