USPS Slow to update tracking?

Anyone else getting a delay on eBay tracking for USPS items?  I dropped off like 8 packages yesterday morning and only 4 have been "processed" by USPS.  The rest say they're still waiting for the item.

Yep I have the same issue. Nothing we can do about it. The USPS office where I am hires a third party transport service to cart mail from one USPS distribution center to the next they never scan like they should. All my packages do get scan when they reach their destinations and are delivered with a scan. I currently have one package that was picked up scanned as accepted and says carrier has the package. Been like that since Jan 28th package estimated delivery is feb 2. 

If you dropped packages off at the post office you should have received a scan receipt. On those packages that didn’t get scanned, you may get a defect for them.

That sucks.  I dropped them off at the post office but I left them in the pre-paid postage bin my post office has :*(.  So no scan receipt.  I guess I just wait.  But want to avoid "defects" in the future.  What are my options?  Stand in the long ass line?

You can ask a clerk to scan the package for a receipt before dropping it in the bin. I see people drop packages off all the time in the bin in my post office. Once in a while a clerk will ask if they need a receipt...if no...then just drop it there in the bin. Yes, that might require to wait in line. But it gives me peace of mind.
