Ebay said in their 12/8 Shipping announcement that "Late deliveries this holiday season will not impact your seller performance rating as long as you continue to meet the expectations you set in your listings". Does that include removing "Cases closed without seller resolution" defects for a delayed USPS shipment (INR Item Not Received) if a buyer escalates a case to eBay (after holding for buyer/seller INR request past the three days to see if the shipment progresses towards delivery)?
Any clarification help would be really appreciated!

OP, that's a good question.
It has been my understanding that as long as the seller provides tracking (a response to the case) then even a forced refund of an INR is not considered a case closed without seller resolution. Agree that it would be great to get official clarification.

Same boat. I have 2 cases that were opened up so far this week. I called my local post office this morning and they said because a lot of stuff is now going ground as they've had a lot of flight cancellations - plus you have covid sick days being used to boot.
can we please get some clarification on this ASAP. this is beginning to suck fast.
