I just noticed today that one of our items (132082747119), which uses Calculated Shipping, is showing the correct shipping charge ($8.20) for 1 item, but Free Shipping for 2 or more items (see photos).
I've set it up to use Priority Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope (retail rate), set the shipping weight to 70 lbs and have a $1 handling fee. One of these items fits into the Padded Envelope; 2 or more will ship in a Regional Rate box or Large Flat Rate box. By setting the weight to 70 lbs, the Shipping Calculator would charge for multiple padded flat rate envelopes ($15.40, $22.60, etc.), and I would refund the difference to the customer. This worked well as recently as late last week, but today something changed.
We cannot afford to ship these items at no charge to the customer, the cost is not built into the price! What to do?

back again, been watching it because i had a complaint but never saw an issue, i thought the buyers might have been seeing Free LOcal Pickup and getting confused, but it is indeed showing free shipping on multiples. Note it is a graphic display bug and shipping is being charged correctly on the check out system... But you shuold all report to Ebay so they get to fixing it...

I've noticed when doing this it often reverts to a cost of 0.00 for additional items on the listing form

No, this is calculated shipping, not flat rate shipping. It's charging the correct amount for 1 item, but 2 or more items shows "Free Shipping".
The problem seemed to go away for the past 4 days, and then today it's back again.

I'm having the exact same problem. I came here to see if anyone else was having the same issue. I'm going to try and report it.

I sold a lamp with calculated shipping by giving zip code. One lamp in a box weighs 15 pounds for 20.00 and the person bought 4 lamps and it calculated the shipping for 50.00. It turned out way more. Ebay said that calculation was for 4 lamps in same box as what one would ship in and just the weight was recalculated . Why would they assume 4 lamps would be shipped in a box made for one.
