Hi there fellow eBayers...
I have always used Priority Mail...
I notice we have USPS Parcel Post Select Ground available to us for shipping. I would like to know if we can still track packages and insure and receive signature for large amounts for our deliveries. And if we advertise Priority Mail, can we accept offer or there be a winning bid and even though Priority is designated for shipping, can we still use Parcel Post Select Ground... ??
I am also noticing we now have Local PickUp available. I am concerned about using this as do not wish people coming to my home, and would need to meet them somewhere, a public place. And how would we prove tracking and proof that they received the item...??
Your comments and help are appreciated... take care... have a great weekend... smile...

You are not allowed to downgrade the shipping service, so if a buyer pays for Priority Mail, you must not ship via Parcel Select Ground. You may, however, offer both options so that a buyer can choose Parcel Select if they would be willing to accept a cheaper but slower service. Parcel Select Ground does not automatically include any insurance (as Priority does), but it does include tracking and you can purchase services such as insurance and signature confirmation.

Your shipping questions were already answered, so I'll just comment on the local pickup part of your post. You can arrange pickup in a public place and you would confirm delivery with the app. Read more here.
