I have two packages I shipped with USPS that are in tubes since they are posters and they are still only saying they were accepted by the post office with no further details. The buyers put the funds on hold, but not sure what I can do as I shipped the items weeks ago.

How did you affix the label? If you put it in the wrong direction then the barcode won't pick up scans along the way. See image below.
If the buyers filed non-receipt claims (it sounds like they did since your funds on hold) you will have to refund them before the deadline by which eBay's telling you to respond. Then you go to USPS and file lost package claims. Assuming you shipped Ground Adv (or Priority), insurance is included up to $100.

Since you're a fairly new seller, it's more likely that your funds are being held per eBay, rather than the buyer. Most new sellers can anticipate having funds held for 30 days. I believe that's explained in the information available for new sellers.

Call the 800 number on the USPS.com site. I just got a package " unstuck " two days ago with a call.

I would probably in the future take such items to the post office and have the post office clerk affix postage rather than using an eBay shipping label. Something like that might be hard to scam. I prefer the clerk to scan my packages in person at the counter.

Last week, I took my receipt to my PO to 'unstuck' a package.
It was scanned by my mail carrier as picked up and then nothing, not even accepted in the local PO. The delivery date came and went. I got the runaround about it being the holidays, shipped media mail, blah blah. He said they had a bin of items not shipped. I gave a description of my package and the supervisor took my receipt in the back and actually pulled out my package and sent it on its way. Luckily the buyer and I were messaging the whole time. It was delivered today, not on the estimated date of November 29.
Don't give up hope. Be proactive and ask your postmaster.

Nice they pulled your package out and got it moving @evry1nositswindy , but they just left the rest of the bin when they knew it was sitting there for a week? 🤦

@wastingtime101 Yep! Crazy isn't it?? I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

If you can't get to the post office and don't want to sit on hold you can file a "missing mail" on the USPS website. Just have your tracking number and be prepared to enter your buyer's address as well as your address. It usually unsticks packages within a couple of days. If the buyer contacted you you can respond that you are in contact with the post office and have filed a missing mail claim. That you will inform them what is going on as soon as you know. Most buyers want the item they ordered and will be patient if you inform them of what is going on. If they have filed a claim you can respond with the same though the time that it takes the missing mail to get unstuck may not happen before the claim times out. If you haven't been contacted at all about the missing mail just hunt it down. Don't contact your buyer or ebay about it. Sometimes it is best to let sleeping dogs sleep.
