Just a heads up. I imagine the same and/or similar will be happening all over. Our local PO is a small, part time office. Our postmaster told us today that starting "sometime soon" ( that's all the timing info. they've been given ), there will be NO afternoon, end of the day pickup anymore. The only pick up will be in the morning when their mail is dropped off. He said it is going to be applied to ALL the small offices in our area even those that are full time offices. Any mail/packages, etc taken to the office after 7:30 am will sit until the next business day. There are likely to be more changes too. Prepare yourself and your customers.

I've been using UPS Ground through Pirate Ship for the last few years. It costs less and it's more reliable.

Hi @greatstuff80 . This change has been coming for a while. USPS started in Oregon/Washington over a year ago and they've been continuing across the country.
It's affecting your post office because it's more than 50 miles from the nearest RP&DC (Regional Processing & Distribution Center).
This article has a great overview:

It would be nice to have a better idea of when other than "sometime soon". But hey why help sellers/shippers plan? Hope they don't find an excuse to start closing small offices. Glad I don't rely on this for income and am just downsizing some stuff. I believe sellers are going to be hurting one way or the other.
