Hello --
I changed my label type on a sold item from USPS to FedEx. I haven't received a refund for the USPS label yet and it's been about 5 days. How long does this typically take, and how do I address it with eBay if I need to?
Thanks for sharing your time and help.

2-3 weeks or more after the request to void is submitted.
carrier wants to be sure it is not used.

If you voided the label, it could take 3 to 4 weeks to receive the refund.

I only see one item that was sold (Feb. 14) and that item shows USPS shipping. Why did you change shipping to Fedex? Did the buyer agree to the change? You aren't supposed to change the shipping service from what was advertised in the listing.

"I only see one item that was sold (Feb. 14) and that item shows USPS shipping. "
The label was voided before I made the change. I have no idea why the USPS label still shows. It's annoying to me that it does still show when it was voided. Is this an issue that it does?
As for why it was voided, I shipped a turntable. I came to learn, after listing it, that USPS does not handle turntables well. I'm not a very experienced seller, and the last time I sold something, years ago, I don't recall the shipping setup being like it is now in ebay -- which frankly is not a well designed workflow at all. In any case, in prepping the shipment, I went through a bunch of audiophile forums for best practices and learned 1. how to pack a turntable, 2. that USPS is not reliable or well-loved for turntable shipment, and that 3. FedEx a better shipper for it. Since this was after the purchase as I was getting ready to pack, it was a change that I felt would increase the chances of the turntable getting there and being usable once it did...
So I communicated with the seller about the change and the reasons for why and he was perfectly fine with it. The net dollar difference between the two methods was favorable to the seller by about 10 dollars, after the packing materials I had to purchase and the label swap.
For the record, for anyone reading this, my particular FedEx location was great. The person there packed it in a box he customized by cutting-down and modifying a standard- box -- something that would have never happened at USPS.

Thanks for the replys to all.
Kensgiftshop (or anyone else), I did void the USPS label, but for some reason it still shows as associated with the sale. I don't know why that is. Do I need to take any action on this? It hasn't been used, obviously.
